Don’t be surprised if this summer Jasper “Jax” Jacks dives into a body of water in Port Charles. The General Hospital star has some big news to share and it involves taking his shirt off!
Rademacher shared on social media that he has officially become a Los Angeles County Lifeguard!
“Today I graduated from @lacolifeguards academy,” Rademacher posted. “I have to say it was one of my proudest moments to date. To now be part of this team of dedicated lifeguards is truly an honor.”

Applying to the academy indirectly led to the actor’s return to Port Charles. Rademacher reached out to GH executive producer Frank Valentini when he was looking to join the program to establish his work history, and during their talk, it came up that the actor was no longer playing Thorne at The Bold And The Beautiful.
While Rademacher has one job as he’s back playing Jax, he’s also got another one lined up as a Los Angeles County Lifeguard! Will more LA-based soap fans be hitting the beach? Or will the GH writers have Jax save someone from a body of water in Port Charles?
