She’s used to being on TV playing General Hospital’s Molly Lansing Davis since she was a child, but this time Haley Pullos appeared as herself on the local CBS evening news in Los Angeles.
The station covered the fact that Santa Clarita, CA is allowing trick-or-treating this year despite the pandemic, and its reporter interviewed residents for their thoughts after shopping for Halloween products.
Pullos, who seems to be wearing a pink pom-pom headband perfect for Halloween, told the reporter trick-or-treating comes with a different feeling this year. She was also making sure to wear her mask.
“That would certainly make me nervous, you know, taking candy from people who could possibly be positive for COVID,” the actress, who has a young niece, said. You can see the news report here.
Pullos posted the news to Twitter that she was on the actual news on Thursday night, but alas the station spelled her name wrong on the chyron, leaving off the second ‘l’ in Pullos. “Catch me on the news (with my name misspelled !!!!),” she tweeted.
On her day TV job at General Hospital, Pullos has been playing a very conflicted Molly of late as she tries to hide the fact that she had a one-night stand with Brando (Johnny Wactor). After all, she’s ready to enter into an official “domestic partnership” with TJ (Tajh Bellow) and she certainly doesn’t want him knowing she betrayed him while he was held hostage by Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) thugs. Of course, Molly thought TJ had dumped her because he disappeared after she turned down his marriage proposal.
As for Halloween, Molly will certainly not be trick-or-treating, but she has dressed as late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in the past and she will be donning another very important costume in the spirit of RBG close to Halloween this year. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
