It’s not easy being a kid in 2020. For many, school is a laptop at home and learning is happening in a way it never has before thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. Thankfully pint-sized General Hospital stars Ava and Grace Scarola are taking it all in stride.
Ava and Grace Scarola Make The Most Of Virtual Learning
“Grace gave a wonderful presentation in Italian today about dogs. Distance learning can be a challenge, but it is beautiful to see progress when you put in the work and dedication,” the twins’ mom posted to their Instagram account.
Both Ava and Grace attend an Italian immersion school, meaning they learn in both English and Italian with the aim of speaking both languages fluently at a young age. Of course, school is a whole lot different this year with the twins set up at home at a large table where they can sit across from one another. All their school supplies, including items for arts and crafts, are on a shelf under the table for easy access.
When the twins started first grade in late summer, their mother posted the following: “Back to school virtually today. These two were so happy to see all their friends and get back to learning.”
The girls are still alternating playing Avery Corinthos on GH and the young character could prove to be key in a pivotal storyline. Thanks to a walk through the woods one night with a flashlight, Avery now possesses the half-heart necklace Nelle (Chloe Lanier) dropped before she fell down a cliff into the river below.
Nina (Cynthia Watros) is searching for the daughter who should have that half-heart necklace and if Carly (Laura Wright) or Sonny (Maurice Benard) somehow figure out the necklace Nina always wears, Nina will get her greatest wish. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
