Poor Oscar Nero is dying on General Hospital — he’s dealing with a brain tumor that threatens to end his young life. What a challenging role for Garren Stitt to bring to life! The good news is that the young actor has something to celebrate in real life.
He’s turning 16 years old today!
Garren Stitt was born on January 21, 2003. He was raised by his mother Yvette and he has an older brother Gabriel. The family moved from Virginia out west to California when he was just three-years-old.
Stitt realized he wanted to be an actor at a very young age and began working in 2011 as young Tom on the TV series Morbid Minutes. The next year he played young Marcus on the TV show Girl Crazy and also appeared on Up In Arms.
In 2013, he appeared in films like Love Triangle and No Ordinary Hero: The SuperDeafy Movie — which starred Marlee Matlin as herself.
2014 was also a good year for Stitt who guested on the primetime show Unusual Suspects and had a recurring role on Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn.
Stitt was also involved in the film, Designer Pups, Is That a Gun in Your Pocket?, and the TV show Rosewood, before 2017 became his banner year. He landed a recurring role on Andi Mack and the plum role of Oscar on GH.
On the personal front, Stitt has many interests outside of acting, including singing. In fact, he started releasing music to Spotify in early 2018.
Soap Hub wishes Garren Stitt the happiest of birthdays.
