Curtis may be worried about solving the serial killer case on General Hospital, but Donnell Turner has plenty of reason to celebrate!
That’s because he was born on January 8, 1973, in Tacoma, WA and raised in Chicago, which means that he’s turning 45 years old today!
Acting has always Turner’s passion and as a boy, he would perform in in plays at church. But he was also a gifted athlete, briefly playing semi-pro basketball before he decided to focus his attention purely on acting.
He moved to Los Angeles in 2001, but he first found success as a model and appeared in over 100 print ads worldwide.
Turner has appeared all over primetime, including on Criminal Minds, 2 Broke Girls, Baby Daddy, Parks and Recreation, CSI, Anger Management, Revenge, and How to Get Away with Murder.
But in 2009, soaps came calling and he landed the small role of Dr. Aiden Williams on Days of Our Lives and in 2015 he played another doctor on The Young and the Restless.
However, the role he won later that year as Curtis on General Hospital catapulted him to daytime stardom.
Off the set, Turner gives motivational speeches for students, religious organizations, and business events. In 2016, the handsome actor was an honored guest speaker at the Autism Speaks Walk Now event.
