Chloe Lanier Gives Update
“Thank you ALL so much for the sweet messages and get well wishes,” Lanier wrote in an Instagram story. “Truly warms my heart. I was prescribed an inhaler late last night which has helped tremendously so far. I have the best caretaker in the world, @kevin.mcclellan who is an actual angel. As bad as I have felt, I know my symptoms are mild in comparison to countless others who are enduring far worse.
“Please continue to take care of yourselves and check in on your loved ones (virtually) as we should all continue social distancing.
“Please stay informed as there is a plethora of misinformation out there right now. I hope you are all staying safe & healthy. Sending you all love and light during these uncertain times. We’re all in this together.”
Previously, Lanier had shared in an Instagram story that she had not been feeling well and was unable to get a test to see if she had the coronavirus. She self-quarantined as a precaution. The actress developed a mild cough that eventually turned into a fever and runny nose, later, aches and chills were added to her symptoms list.
“Then last night came the chest pain and shortness of breath,” Lanier reported. “I went to the ER today where they again refused to test me because I’m young and there are very few tests to go around. The doctor said I ‘probably have it’ but because of my age and overall health otherwise, I should continue to self isolate.”
Fortunately, Lanier is saying she now feels better. For more information on the coronavirus/COVID-19 check out the Center for Disease Control website CDC.gov. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
