Seeing Sonny (Maurice Benard) alive and well, motivated Nina (Cynthia Watros) to do the right thing and contact the mourning “widow” immediately. Unfortunately for Carly (Laura Wright), she is her own worst enemy. She’ll treat Nina like hell again, telling her she needs to consider the consequences before she does something drastic. And probably some other choice words.
Shocker of shockers, spoilers reveal that Nina has a change of heart! So Nina closes her mouth and starts talking up Smike. They must start digging deep about life and philosophy because he tells Nina to live in the moment. Will she grab the moment along with him and see where it takes them? This could get really interesting, really fast.

Letting Go
Things aren’t going well for Anna (Finola Hughes). She mourns her personal losses. As she faces those, Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) is wanting to celebrate his gains — with Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez). But she’s had her papa’s sole attention for a long time. How will she react to finding out she’s about to become a big sister?
Speaking of that, the mom-to-be, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) runs into a very pregnant Maxie (Kirsten Storms), and the two catch up. Brook Lynn admits that she hasn’t figured things out yet. Something must happen because Brook Lynn and Lucas rally around Maxie. Does Peter (Wes Ramsey) track Maxie down once again to try to woo her back under his control?
Seems Like Old Times
Portia (Brook Kerr) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) bond over their life experiences. Portia asks him if he sees the bigger picture now. Is something brewing between these former lovers now that he seems to have shut the door on his marriage?
Not if Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) has anything to say about it but right now she has something else on her mind. She tells Taggert (Réal Andrews) in prison that there’s been a development — it’s his lucky day as Trina (Sydney Mikayla) decides to finally see her father. He wants to know if she can forgive him.
