General Hospital spoilers for Wednesday, February 3, 2021, reveal a hostage negotiation, a plea for forgiveness, and a proposed compromise. You won’t want to miss a moment of this emotional new episode.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
Cyrus (Jeff Kober) approaches his mother’s kidnapping as a hostage negotiation. Still believing that Jason (Steve Burton) is responsible for snatching Florence, will Cyrus get wise that Carly (Laura Wright) acted alone and was the mastermind behind the snatch?
Jason strategizes with Carly about next steps, pointing out that Cyrus’ fear is their leverage. As long as they still have his mother as a hostage, they can use his vulnerability to stay ahead of the drug kingpin.
Can Dante Forgive?
Maxie (Kristin Storms) pays Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) a visit in the hospital. The two have bonded more lately over missing Lulu, who remains in a coma. Maxie uses that bond to appeal to him in hopes that Dante can forgive Peter (Wes Ramsey).
Dante is in a precarious position to say the least, as he’s in the midst of “completing the mission,” which is to take Peter down and protect Franco (Roger Howarth) at all costs. Now Maxie is asking him to forgive and fully accept Peter as part of her future, which we all know is in jeopardy.
A Heated Compromise
After being pressured again by her newfound half-brother Cyrus to find out where Jason is hiding his mother, Laura (Genie Francis) confronts Carly over what she knows. Stubborn as always, Carly doesn’t give up much, so Laura proposes a compromise.
In the meantime, Cyrus turns up the heat on Brando (Johnny Wactor) to get further involved in the business and prove his loyalty. Cyrus refuses to sit back and wait for Jason to make his next move, which could jeopardize the safety of his mother even more. He tells Brando that it’s time to use his style of hostage negotiation, which will add further pressure on his hired gun. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
