General Hospital Spoilers Wild Spec: Does PC Need a New (Ryan’s) Hope?

Port Charles became a permanent part of the Ryan’s Hope universe when it was revealed in long ago General Hospital spoilers that Ava’s biological mother was none other than Delia Reid Ryan Coleridge (and a few more Ryans). The show even made a quick visit to New York City and Ryan’s Bar to confirm that fact. So now that Delia is an official part of the canvas, who else from the late, beloved show should pay Port Charles a visit?

Frank Ryan was the family’s oldest son, a lawyer, and a politician who was tough on crime – especially organized crime. Even when it was in his own family. Since no one in Port Charles seems interested in bringing down the mob, maybe it’s time to import a Riverside Ryan to do it!

On the other hand, if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em. Frank’s baby sister, Siobhan (most famously played by a pre-China Beach and CSI Marg Helgenberger), really had a thing for the bad boys.

There was her first husband, mobster Joe Novak (played by the late Roscoe Born and, later, a pre-All My Children Walt Wiley – we know they look nothing alike, it’s the power of daytime!), and the next one, mob big boss Max (played by a pre-Guiding Light Daniel Pilon). Port Charles could be the city of her dreams!

Delia — Mommy Dearest

And then there’s Delia (Ilene Kristen) herself. Ava is kind of embarrassed by her flaky mom. But Kiki (Hayley Erin) wasn’t exactly thrilled with Ava’s existence either. This could be some nice payback for her.

And we would pay good money to watch uptight Sonny (Maurice Benard) try to make sense of Delia’s trail of logic. If he finds Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) hard to understand, wait till he spends an extended amount of time with Dee! General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
