The General Hospital spoilers for April 13-17, 2020, reveal an audacious plan being revisited, utterly devastating news for Sonny, worry for Laura, and much more.
Chase (Josh Swickard) and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) each grow increasingly concerned that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) might be successful in her bid to gain custody of Wiley. They also realize the lasting damage that such a victory would cause to Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael (Chad Duell).
They both become determined to ensure that Michael has a real fighting chance at remaining the child’s sole legal guardian – even if that means pushing their significant other down a wedding aisle towards each other!
Sonny (Maurice Benard) is summoned to Turning Woods and informed that Mike (Max Gail) has suffered a seizure – a harbinger of late-stage Alzheimer’s. At first, Sonny chooses to ignore the diagnosis, sure that the event is merely an incremental progression of the disease and not indicative of his father’s impending demise.
However, after joining his father, Sonny realizes the true extent of his decline. For most of his visit, Mike remains nonverbal and unresponsive but as Sonny readies himself to leave, he utters a few reassuring words that leave Sonny certain that his father is ready to pass on.
Laura (Genie Francis) intercepts a message from Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) to Lulu (Emme Rylan) and realizes that the dreadful villain may have a leg up on her daughter in regards to Charlotte’s custody case.
In other Port Charles news, Robert (Tristan Rogers) pays an imprisoned Liesl (Kathleen Gati) a visit – and gives Peter (Wes Ramsey) an exceedingly hard time. However, it’s not enough to keep Peter from continuing his manipulations of Maxie (Kirsten Storms).
Meanwhile, Portia (Brook Kerr) makes a very important decision, Nelle runs into Valentin, and Ava (Maura West) slaps Nikolas (Marcus Coloma). How long will these two stubborn people be able to pretend they’ve got a real marriage?
Finally, Violet’s extravagant birthday party sets the stage for mischief and emotion. Might the long-missing Hayden (Rebecca Budig) put in an appearance and make her daughter’s biggest wish come true? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
