It’s going to be a week of shocking moves as more people learn that Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) is pregnant. Next up is Chase (Josh Swickard) and it may have a lasting impact on the man who has his own paternity issues. Elsewhere, Carly (Laura Wright) is fit to be tied that her BFF Jason (Steve Burton) has been locked up for killing Franco (Roger Howarth).
But that isn’t all that is happening this week that affects Carly. Outside of Port Charles, Nina (Cynthia Watros) is on the verge of seeing that reports of Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) demise were greatly exaggerated. All that and so much more will be happening — watch the promo above to see it all!
GH made its debut in 1963 and is the second longest-running daytime soap opera in American history. The longest-running soap is Guiding Light. While it’s not the longest-running serial, General Hospital is the longest-running soap opera currently on air.

From legendary Laura’s (Genie Francis) four decades on and off and back on as the show’s leading heroine to Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) exploits to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and his mobster activities, GH certainly knows how to please their viewers.
More than five decades of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this ABC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. It is one of four soap operas currently on the air.
