Brand-new General Hospital spoilers for Friday, August 19 promises a day of mixed emotions and new beginnings for your favorite Port Charles pals. Settle in for a Friday you won’t soon forget.
Good News After a Bleak Week
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is getting over a not-so-good-very-bad week and could use a pick me up, and we’re not talking about a cocktail or two. Thankfully, she gets great news from her daughter when Sam (Kelly Monaco) tells her she and Jason are getting married once again. After Alexis reluctantly filed their divorce papers, this is music to her ears.
Later, Jake and Liz (Rebecca Herbst) have a heart to heart and she tells her son some big and exciting news.
The Start of Something New
Laura (Genie Francis) had quite a day on Thursday when she sparred with Hayden (Rebecca Budig) and grieved Nikolas. She poured out her feelings for Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) and the two shared a surprise kiss. On Friday, the pair admits they have romantic feelings for one another. Can this be the start of a beautiful friendship that goes beyond friendship?
Claudette Shocker?
Nathan (Ryan Paevey) and Maxie (Kirsten Storms) learn something shocking. Might they walk in on Claudette (Bree Williamson) and Griffin Matt Cohen) in a lip lock? Imagine their shock when they learn Griffin is the man Nathan shot. It would certainly explain a few things around Port Charles.
Killer Controversy
Over at the hospital, the Angel of Mercy mystery heats up. First, Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Valerie (Brytni Sarpy) find a missing cufflink and are sure it belongs to the killer. Later, things become a scorcher when Curtis and Valerie take their romance to the next level. Can we expect even more heat this summer?
