General Hospital spoilers (GH) for Monday, Aug. 7 promise the mystery of who shot Sonny may finally be solved – or it may become more murky as everyone scrambles to protect Sam. You won’t want to miss a moment of this exciting episode!
On the Case
At General Hospital, Griffin (Matt Cohen) gets a call, which puts a strange look on his face, and he tells the person that he will head right over.
Since spoilers reveal that Jason (Billy Miller) questions Griffin, we’ll go out on a limb and say the call came from Jason.
Could Jason be putting the pieces together and wondering if Sam’s (Kelly Monaco) disease made her capable of taking action (meaning shooting Sonny) against one of her delusions?
The Truth Is Out There
Someone else is trying to put the pieces together and that’s Dante (Dominic Zamprogna).
He is in Sonny’s (Maurice Benard) hospital room, asking him about the shooting. Sonny admits it wasn’t dead Garvey who shot him.
Will he fess up it was Sam? Meanwhile Carly (Laura Wright) asks Epiphany for help.
Daddy Issues
Hayden looks to a kindred-spirit for advice. She ends up at the prison to visit her father, unsure exactly how to handle the blackmail she’s been forced to deal with at the (seemingly) hands of her ex-husband, Jared.
Little does she know that it’s Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) pulling the strings.

She knocks and when Ava (Maura West) answers, she lets her know she’s not taking no for an answer – she wants to come in.
Spoilers reveal also that Ava reluctantly begins therapy. Does this mean she won’t testify against Valentin (James Patrick Stuart)?
