General Hospital spoilers (GH) for Wednesday, August 16 promise a day of bittersweet happiness for Elizabeth. You won’t want to miss a moment of this emotional episode!

The Prodigal Returns
Liz (Elizabeth Herbst) is still freaking out about all she is learning about her sister and what she’s been up to.

Even Franco’s (Roger Howarth) return, while a welcomed surprise, isn’t enough to deter her. Spoilers revaal she puts her life on hold. We have a feeling Franco isn’t going to like that. Not one bit.

Double Crossed!
Jared is livid! He didn’t blackmail Hayden only for her to outsmart him and close the account. But – did she take the money for herself or return it?

And what about poor Dr. Finn? Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) curiosity consumes her, as she wonders if her plan made him miserable.

Misery Loves Company
It did, Liesel, no worries. Curtis (Donnell Turner) tracks Finn (Michael Easton) down with a purpose.

He tells him to stop him chasing after a vanished Hayden (Rebecca Budig), Finn appreciates Curtis and what he’s trying to do but will he do as he suggests?

What’s Real?
Spoilers reveal that Ava (Maura West) fantasizes about a life without scars. Who could blame her? She did a lot by trading on her beautiful face but now that she has those scars, she feels like her life must be over.

Kristina reminisces with Parker. She can’t help but quiz her former lover about the state of her marriage since it ended up breaking her heart.

Parker seems a bit resistant and Kristina can’t help but say she feels entitled to know how it all turned out. Will Parker open up?
