General Hospital spoilers for July 27-31, 2020 reveal another look back at episodes that were previously broadcast in May of this year. Among the flashback storylines are Nelle’s courtroom machinations, the beginning of Sasha’s descent into drug addiction, and so much more.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlight
Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) plans to match Michael (Chad Duell) marriage for marriage and gain support for her cause finally come to fruition this week. Thanks to a spot of perfectly timed blackmail, she gets a new husband in the form of Julian Jerome (William deVry).
And thanks to her silver tongue and pitiful act, she convinces Nina (Cynthia Watros) to take the stand in her defense. But has she really made the right choices? Surely marrying a notorious (former) crime boss and having a one-time baby snatcher speak to your character will blow up in her face… right?
Lesson For The Week: Just Say No
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) will also spend the week making equally questionable decisions, especially where a certain white powder with “restorative powers” is concerned. But she will have a surprising source for kind words — Valentin (James Patrick Stuart)!
Murder Most Foul?
Robert (Tristan Rogers) is left fighting mad after learning from Mac (John J. York) that both he and Anna (Finola Hughes) have been operating under the theory that Holly’s (Emma Samms) death might not have been so accidental. But then the trio is left to wonder if she’s really even dead. This wouldn’t be the first time that rumors to that effect had been greatly exaggerated.
Second and Third Opinions
Sonny (Maurice Benard) will continue to struggle over whether or not to allow life-extending measures to be taken where his father is concerned. Jason (Steve Burton) and Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) will both weigh in on the situation but the final decision will ultimately be up to Sonny.
Franco and Elizabeth: Trouble in Paradise
Franco (Roger Howarth) will once again open his mouth and wind up inserting his foot where Elizabeth is concerned. But rather than insult her worth as an artist, he will question her devotion to their marriage and the extent of her relationship with Nikolas (Marcus Coloma).
Mother Knows Best
Though he fears Spencer’s (Nicolas Bechtel) reaction to the news that he will be stripped of 90% of the Cassadine fortune once he divorces Ava (Maura West), Nikolas will take Laura’s advice to heart and reach out to his son. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
