Rebecca Budig on General Hospital
Hayden’s family tree seems to be growing in Port Charles. The “General Hospital” character we first thought was just a random con woman turned out to be a woman named Rachel who just so happens to be the daughter of swindler Raymond Berlin. Now, we’re about to meet the other half of her parenting team.
Riker, (ex-Beth, “The Bold and the Beautiful”) has joined the GH cast as Naomi Dreyfuss, Hayden’s (Rebecca Budig) dear old mom. Naomi apparently fell from grace just as her daughter did when her husband bilked millions out of Port Charles citizens.
Recent scenes with Hayden and Finn (Michael Easton) made it seem like there might be a connection between the two–or at least a connection between Finn and her father. Might the connection also be between Finn and Naomi?
It’s clear the good doctor (with the very large needle) has something or someone to hide from his past. Might a history with the Berlin family be part of his overall secret?
Whether Naomi has a connection to Finn or not, it will certainly bring more dimension to Hayden as she interacts with a family member. Riker makes her “General Hospital” debut on GH June 3, so tune in to see how it all plays out.
