General Hospital Recap: Ryan Throws Him And Ava Over The Bridge!

Published by

The General Hospital recap for Friday, March 8 features a whole lotta action at the Northern Border with rich art gallery owners and serial killing pediatricians crossing into other countries in the dead of night so they won’t be seen.

Ava (Maura West) waited so long to get married, but perhaps she should have put this one off a little longer. As Carly (Laura Wright) woke up at the bottom of the bridge, Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) told her he left her in the cold to die and didn’t really care.

Ava wasn’t into being responsible for someone else’s death — even Carly’s — so she begged Ryan to call 911. He refused and suddenly, Jason (Steve Burton) shot him and Laura (Genie Francis) begged her to get away.

Ava told Laura that clearly Kevin had gone crazy, but Laura screamed it wasn’t Carly at all. It was Ryan. Ava refused to believe such nonsense, but she did tell Jason that Carly was dropped off a few miles away.

Ryan was not happy about Ava betraying him, so he kissed her and then lunged both himself and Ava over the bridge.

Meanwhile, Carly tried to climb up the bridge wall at the border and wasn’t having too much luck. She was too busy thinking about how she hated Ava. (Give it a rest, Carly.)

Over in Turkey, Sonny (Maurice Benard) wasn’t really thinking about his pregnant wife of advanced maternal age with no ability to mind her own business. Instead, he was with Robert (Tristan Rogers) deducing Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) was still alive but being held hostage.

Back in Port Charles, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) had a steamy dream about Julian that lasted for about three-quarters of the episode. Julian (William deVry) was quite a dirty boy and we knew it couldn’t be real. Alexis ended the night by buying a bottle of vodka. NO ALEXIS! DON’T DO IT!

A lot was happening at Charlie’s Pub as Sam (Kelly Monaco) was shocked to learn Michael (Chad Duell) gave Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) a loan so she could take expensive Dawn of Day classes.

Michael and Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) were both shocked when Nina (Michelle Stafford) tried to set them up. And Sasha was especially shocked when Maxie (Kirsten Storms) yanked out a piece of her hair, claiming she saw a grey.

General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
