General Hospital Reveal: Nelle’s Vendetta May Start Making Sense

It’s no secret Nelle has it in for Carly on General Hospital, but we’re still not sure why. We do know there’s something in that box of keepsakes she continues staring at, but we don’t know everything that’s in it.

Next week, after spending an odd and awkward Christmas with the Corinthos clan, she then spends some time alone with Michael (Chad Duell) and actually feels comfortable. But, that little keepsake box comes into play when Michael accidentally knocks it over and Nelle (Chloe Lanier) does a major freakout.

So far, the only thing we’ve really noticed in the box is an old baby rattle that just makes her story all the more confusing.  Well, we finally see something from that box that could blow her whole story wide open.

Michael might not realize the significance of what falls out of the box–and he might not even notice it–but according to the January 2 issue of Soap Opera Digest, it offer us a big clue into why she has it out for Carly (Laura Wright) so bad.

Fans have had their own theories about who Nelle might really be for months, including that she’s Carly’s daughter. But, if that’s the case, the romance the show seems to be pursuing with Michael would never work out because that would make them brother and sister.

At Soap Hub, we hope GH really surprises us because so far nothing about Nelle makes sense and we have hoped her backstory wouldn’t be a typical soap plot. So, let’s keep our fingers crossed for a big (early) 2017 surprise.
