The General Hospital recaps for October 4 – October 8, 2021, feature several truths coming out – most of them inconveniently so.
General Hospital Recaps: Monday, October 4
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) filled Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) in on her run-in with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros); she wondered why Sonny didn’t reveal Nina’s complicity in keeping him hidden away; Sonny confides that he just wants to leave the past in the past. The couple retires to the master bedroom.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) are aghast over Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) confession to being the latter’s stalker. When pressed, Spencer claims that he ordered Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) to torch Ava’s car. Nikolas casts him on out of Wyndemere…Esme is booted out of The Savoy for producing a fake I.D.
Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) informed Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) of Nina’s sins. When Esme mentions Nina’s presence at The Savoy, the couple head out to confront her….Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) make the acquaintance of one Dallas Kirby (Laurine Price) – David Henry Archer’s go-to fixer.
Nina and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) reconnected; he refused to judge her too harshly for her actions, then attempted to broker peace between Nina, Michael, and Willow; his words greatly affect Willow….Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) delighted in letting Esme know that her and Spencer’s machinations have been brought to light.
GH Recaps: Tuesday, October 5
Dallas Kirby admitted to staging a plane crash at David Henry Archer’s request, though she claims no knowledge of the actual plane’s whereabouts, or who was onboard….Sam confessed to Dante that she has no romantic longings for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is nonplussed to run into Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) outside Chloe Jennings (Phoebe Kuhlman) hospital room; the young woman shares with them her traumatic story, which includes an abduction in Port Charles, her imprisonment in a heavily fortified compound, and her escape – which was aided by a fellow prisoner named Drew Cain.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) visited Curtis at The Savoy. The two drank, caught each other up on recent goings-on, and decided to continue the evening at a separate venue.
Peter August (Wes Ramsey) sparred with Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) over his failure to provide what the latter desires – the means to control a conditioned Drew….Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) awakens in Drew’s cell. At Drew’s urging, Valentin relays all he knows about Scout.
Valentin is granted an audience with Victor, who claims that he needs Valentin’s assistance in neutralizing Peter….Peter uses the key to place Drew under his thrall.

Sam and Dante both admit that they like one another; they kiss, and agree to go on a proper date, once Drew has been liberated….Valentin is floored when Victor insists that he is Valentin’s biological father….Robert and Anna discover that Valentin has gone missing – and that he was left in the hands of an enemy agent bearing a Cassadine crest tattoo. The trio comes under heavy fire from a masked assailant who’s privately revealed to be Drew!
General Hospital recaps reveal Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) detailed her heart transplant to Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth); with Austin’s help, Maxie comes to the realization that she and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) are friends.
Brook Lynn cried to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) that Austin has dummied up an Autism diagnosis for Leo with the expressed purpose of diverting Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) attention away from ELQ and the impending lawsuit; Chase cautions her to give Austin the benefit of the doubt; Brook Lynn tracked Austin down, apologized for her actions, and asked if he truly believes Leo is on the spectrum; Austin answers in the affirmative.
General Hospital Recaps: Friday, October 8
Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) raked Nina over the coals for involving Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) in her shenanigans, but the women parted on good terms….Portia isn’t pleased to hear that Trina’s beau, Victor, and Spencer Cassadine are one and the same….Nikolas restricts Spencer’s access to his credit card and bank accounts….Britt vetoes Spencer’s request for housing.
Esme tried to worm her way into Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) good graces – much to Josslyn’s chagrin….Phyllis Caufield (Joyce Guy) paid Sonny a visit; they make proper introductions. Phyllis confides that she’s not ready to make decisions about her future; she’s also not prepared to write Nina off….Josslyn gives Nina what for.
