The General Hospital recaps for April 12-16, 2021, features a best laid plan going to pot, a marriage ending, and so much more.
Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) plan to neutralize Peter (Wes Ramsey) failed spectacularly, when he revealed that he’d poisoned someone close to one of his jailers.
Both parties frantically tracked down each of their loved ones, and it was Anna who discovered the identity of the unfortunate poisoning victim. It was Detective Chase (Josh Swickard), who’d inadvertently taken the dose meant for Finn (Michael Easton).
Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) paid Curtis (Donnell Turner) a visit at his new nightclub, and wondered if her estranged husband was at all interested in reconciliation. He was not.
Much to Jordan’s disappointment, Curtis explained that he’s just never going to be able to trust her again – and you can’t have a marriage without trust.
Over in Nixon Falls, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Elijah (Dan White) continued to butt heads, but it was Sonny who gained the upper hand, thanks to an investigation he launched into his rival’s past.
Turns out, Elijah was arrested for, though never convicted of, embezzling from a company headquartered in San Francisco. Sonny kept the news for himself, though he couldn’t help warning Elijah that he was on to him.
Meanwhile, Nina (Cynthia Watros) continued to struggle with her decision to leave Sonny in the dark as to his life in Port Charles, but Sonny insisted that he was fine with never recovering a single memory. He’s content with his new life, with his new friends…and with the company provided by a certain blonde-haired city girl.
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), her relationship with Michael (Chad Duell) firmly in her rearview mirror, decided to seek out Brando (Johnny Wactor) – the man who’s been on her mind, and in her heart, for quite some time.
The two wind up flirting outrageously with one another, and they spend the night together in the backseat of a car taking up space in Brando’s garage. That should be a fun retrieve for that customer.
Despite pleas to the contrary from Laura (Genie Francis) and Ava (Maura West), Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) readied himself to liberate Florence from the compound she’s being held in.
Nikolas swore that he was only doing so in order to ensure that Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) receives protection while in Pentonville – and he better make quick work of it. Because Alexis has already run afoul of Hilda, the prison’s top dog. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
