The General Hospital recaps for June 21-25, 2021, feature Harrison Chase proving himself to be a medical marvel, Jason Morgan accepting a plethora of “I’m sorrys,” and Ava Jerome Cassadine telling husband Nikolas to “hit the road, Jack.”
General Hospital Recaps Highlights
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) managed to resuscitate a flatlining Chase (Josh Swickard) and inject him with a dose of the reworked antidote. Chase stages a (nearly) full recovery – much to the delight of his friends and family. However, Willow Tait Chase (Katelyn MacMullen) is concerned when she hears that her new husband is temporarily paralyzed from the waist down.
Chase downplayed his condition. He insisted that the thought of renewing his wedding vows with Willow would give him the strength to complete the requisite physical therapy.
Making Amends
Cameron (William Lipton) and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) issued their apologies to Jason for accusing him of killing Franco. Afterward, Cameron visited Josslyn (Eden McCoy), gave her his own personal apols, and asked whether the tension between them would ever dissipate. She said that it would – though she privately doubted the veracity of that claim.
GH Recaps: Business Is Booming
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) remained flummoxed by the burgeoning romantic relationship between Jason and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). She attempted to see the doctor off – but Britt proved that she wasn’t so easily deterred.
The Novak family arranged the bombing of a Corinthos-owned warehouse, which forced Carly and Jason to decide that drastic action must be undertaken.
Super Friends
Detective Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) shared with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) the fruit of his laborious search for her “kidnapped” baby: he found the body of the woman masquerading as Nurse Jennings and her cell phone.
A thoroughly panicked Maxie wound up seeking an audience with little Louise, and her presence greatly perturbed Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart).
A visiting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) revealed that she’d been tracking the helicopter pilot hired to rendezvous with Peter on the roof of GH. When she then mentioned that she’d be setting off for Pautuck, Valentin volunteered to accompany her – a move that chagrined Maxie and Brook Lynn.
General Hospital Recaps: A Broken System
Despite their best efforts, prisoners Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore), had their plan to out Judge Carson’s racial bias rumbled. The result found Shawn being forever banned from the women’s side of the prison and “disruptive” Alexis being thrown into solitary confinement.
Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow
After a viable threat was made to Avery’s safety, Ava (Maura West) requested that Carly shelter the young child…and she insisted that Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) vacate their shared hotel suite. As he took his leave, Nikolas vowed to protect his splintering family.
Change Starts At The Top
Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) was named chairperson of the GH board. Britt feared that the move would result in her immediate termination, but Monica revealed that no such decision had been made.
Doctor Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) requested that she be considered for the Chief of Staff position should Britt’s job become available. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
