General Hospital Recaps March 1-5
 Comments

The General Hospital recap for March 1-5, 2021, features pandemonium breaking out at a double wedding, harsh truths hurled, and a bloody sneak attack.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Despite Liesl’s (Kathleen Gati) attempts to convince her otherwise, Maxie (Kirsten Storms) remained determined to go through with her wedding to Peter (Wes Ramsey).

If Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) had had their druthers, the groom would have been a no-show at the ceremony. But their plan to kidnap him and transport him to a secondary location was stymied by a well-meaning Dante (Dante Zamprogna).

So, with both couples poised to recite their vows, it was up to Liesl to voice an objection…and allow the (supposedly) deceased Alex Devane (Finola Hughes) to unleash some damning testimony.

Finn (Michael Easton), in response to learning that his bride-to-be had known about Peter’s maternity for months and that she and Valentin had been conspiring to prove his villainy, stormed out of the venue. Anna followed and pleaded with him to understand her actions.

Meanwhile, Valentin revealed more of Peter’s crimes to the wedding guests – including the order he issued to have Drew Cain killed. A distraught Maxie reacted to the flurry of facts by doubling over in pain, and announcing that she was sure she had gone into labor!

Vengeance Is Franco’s

After freeing himself from his detractors, Peter raced to his hotel suite and armed himself with a handgun. Then he proceeded to head for the car park – no doubt on his way to check on Maxie who’d been escorted to GH by Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) and Mac (John J. York).

However, he was waylaid by a tire iron-wielding Franco (Roger Howarth) who was apparently displeased at having recalled one of Drew’s memories…a memory which featured Peter participating in his kidnapping!

A Complicated Family Tree

Nina’s (Cynthia Watros) second visit with Wiley proved disastrous when she informed the boy of his true maternity, and he, in turn, insisted that Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) – an insult that devastated the young woman.

In response, Michael told Nina it’s time for her to take a MAJOR step back…and no amount of “I’m sorries,” or “I didn’t mean it” was going to change his mind.

The Hits Just Keep Coming

Though he’d prayed that his night’s low point had been Jackie’s (Kim Delaney) insistence that their marriage was over, Gregory (Gregory Harrison) wound up being crushed all over again when he overheard his wife and Finn discussing their long-ago flirtation. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
