The General Hospital recaps for April 26-30, 2021, features Nina’s new small-town existence coming under threat, Brook Lynn and Maxie deciding to partner up, and so much more.
Though it took some effort on her part, Nina (Cynthia Watros) managed to convince a hospitalized Jax (Ingo Rademacher) that he didn’t actually see Sonny (Maurice Benard) before passing out.
And with that goal achieved, Nina then worked overtime to get Jax up and out of Nixon Falls. His revelation that Michael (Chad Duell) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) were now open to the idea of letting her visit with Wiley gave Nina momentary pause…but she decided that she’d much rather stay put.
However, Nina’s plans may all be for naught. Josslyn (Eden McCoy), fresh off injuring her ankle yet again, and Trina (Sydney Mikayla) have made their way to the town in order to chauffeur Jax back to Port Charles. And while Joss made a beeline for her dad, Trina made a pitstop at The Tan-o…
Thanks to Olivia’s (Lisa LoCicero) inability to keep Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) secret, Brook Lynn was able to formulate what she was sure was the perfect plan. She’ll take custody of baby Louise, and pass her off as her own.
But upon sharing the idea with Maxie, Brook Lynn was greeted by shock, and revulsion, and a whole lot of name-calling and character bashing. In the end, however, Maxie had to concede that it was the only solid option available to her.
Ava (Maura West), Carly (Laura Wright), and Laura (Genie Francis) working together to ensure Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) downfall. Sure, it makes more sense in theory than in practice. But thanks to the villain’s continuing antics – which include, but are in no way limited to, selling his highly addictive, unapproved drug on the city’s streets, and threatening little Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola) – the women are left little choice.
The women’s game plan? Divide and conquer. Carly (Laura Wright) will continue with her endeavor to free Jason (Steve Burton), while Ava and Laura will distract Cyrus with a family dinner.
Inside Pentonville, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was assigned a cushy job in the library – thanks entirely to Nikolas’s (Marcus Coloma) returning Florence to Cyrus. While performing her duties, Alexis is greeted by Shawn (Sean Blakemore), and the two reminisce about their past love affair and the commitment ceremony their children undertook.
After coming clean to Maxie about Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) poisoning of Chase (Josh Swickard) and of his holding the antidote hostage, Anna (Finola Hughes) convinced the young woman to accept a visit from her ex.
As a result, Peter gifted Anna a vial containing the cure for Chase’s ailment. Finn (Michael Easton) managed to inject the life-saving serum in the nick of time, though his and Anna’s actions were called into question by Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst).
In order to preserve the secret, Finn has Elizabeth reassigned to another floor of the hospital. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
