The General Hospital recaps for May 3-7, 2021, features Jason and Britt making a break for it, Cameron accused of a crime he didn’t commit, and so much more.
General Hospital Recaps Highlight
Jason’s (Steve Burton) carefully arranged escape from the hospital was thrown into disarray when the escapee doubled back in order to ascertain Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) status.
He managed to rescue her from a two-man hit squad, and the pair headed for the garage where the get-away car awaited. In the ensuing shootout, Jason took a bullet to the back – initially believed to have been fired by an emotionally distraught Cameron (William Lipton).
Analysis of the gun held by the teen, coupled with surveillance footage definitively proved Cameron innocent of the crime.
Crisis Adverted
Nina (Cynthia Watros) worked tirelessly to ensure that “Mike” (Maurice Benard) didn’t cross paths with any of the Port Charlesites visiting Nixon Falls, and though she had a major scare with Trina (Sydney Mikayla) – who’d made her way to The Tan-o – her efforts bore fruit. Nina later surprised “Mike” with the news that she’s checking out local real-estate.
Long Live The Queen
Carly (Laura Wright) made a beeline for the safehouse in the hopes that Jason had managed to make it to safety, and she was indeed greeted with the sight of her best friend.
And though she was loathed to see Britt, Carly was later thankful for the good doctor who set about closing the gaping wound in Jason’s back. When it was determined that Jason would need a massive blood transfusion, Carly offered up enough of hers to get Jason through.
Afterwards, Carly took her leave…and headed to the meeting of the Five Families. After taking the seat normally reserved for Sonny, Carly pitched herself as the man’s worthy successor. Despite Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) best efforts to convince the group otherwise, all four family heads pledged their loyalty to Carly.
Bossman
Back in Nixon Falls, Elijah (Dan White) continued to grate on “Mike’s” nerves, especially when he made it clear that he too had designs on Nina. By complete coincidence, “Mike” stumbled upon a conspiratorial conversation taking place between Elijah and one of the gunmen who held up the Firehouse Dance.
Confession: It’s Good For The Soul
When threatened with a tribunal, Finn (Michael Easton) finally admitted to Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) that Chase (Josh Swickard) had been poisoned by Peter August (Wes Ramsey)…and that Peter was responsible for Franco’s (Roger Howarth) murder.
That revelation eventually made its way to Cameron, who apologized to Josslyn (Eden McCoy) for his pigheaded insistence that Jason had been the perpetrator of the crime. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
