The General Hospital recap for Monday, December 21, 2020, features the end for Julian, a hunt for Sonny, a brother-sister introduction, and the Grey family reunion experiencing a few hiccups.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Jason (Steve Burton) followed Sonny (Maurice Benard) into the river but was unable to locate him. When the police arrived, Jason blended into the surrounding foliage and eavesdropped on the rescue operation.
He was momentarily flustered by the claim that a body had been recovered, but once he realized that it was Julian’s (William de Vry) corpse, Jason relaxed. No news is good news, as they say.
Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) swung by the Corinthos compound to drop off Christmas presents, reveal that he knows Sonny paid for his and Lulu’s (Emme Rylan) abode, and thank him personally.
An anxious Carly (Laura Wright) could only tell him that his dad was out of town on business, and talk soon turned to Donna, the newest member of the family. The duo ascended the stairs to see the baby, and Dante got his first peek at Carson’s never-seen miracle child.
Afterward, Carly was left alone to her own devices – which is never a good thing. Her brooding was interrupted by Jason’s appearance, and from his disheveled look, Carly quickly realized that all was not well.
Grey Family Reunion 2020
Over in Vermont, Florence found it hard to cope with the back to back revelations that Cyrus (Jeff Kober) had returned to the fold and that he had brought Laura (Genie Francis), the product of Gordon’s long ago extra-marital affair, with him.
Laura attempted to diffuse the tense situation, but Cyrus wasn’t buying her mediation efforts. Laura, in turn, delighted in telling Cyrus all about himself, and even his subsequent veiled threats failed to penetrate her resolve.
Off that confrontation, Laura accepted Martin’s (Michael E. Knight) offer of a hasty exit, and Cyrus went back into Florence’s room and threw his accomplishments in her unimpressed face.
Inconvenient Truths
Back in Port Charles, Anna (Finola Hughes) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) discussed the validity of Dante’s supposed recovery, then learned that Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and Peter (Wes Ramsey) were expecting a baby girl.
The delighted aunt-to-be (least we forget that ALEX is really Peter’s mother) returned home to find a jubilant Gregory (Gregory Harrison) and Chase (Josh Swickard) bidding Finn (Michael Easton) adieu after a poker game.
She was glad to see the men bonding, but Finn told her to temper that emotion. He had something to tell her…and it was something she wasn’t going to like hearing. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
