The General Hospital recap for Thursday, December 20 features a lot of happiness and heartache surrounding a little joyful boy named Wiley.
The Corinthos Clan hosted a baby naming ceremony for Wiley where Sam (Kelly Monaco) was there as his godmother and Michael was there as his godfather.
Everyone recited their own dedication to the little happy baby, but there was a bit of a disruption when Julian (William deVry) showed up to take Avery to see Ava (Maura West).
Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) objected and Avery walked in asking if she did anything wrong. Carly and Sonny finally relented and let Julian take the little girl.
Apparently, Ava wasn’t ready for her because Julian brought her back to the pub to hang out for a while and he told her to make the customers happy. So, she decided to walk up to Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), who were having lunch.
When Julian left to take Avery to see Ava, he and Willow gave each other an all-knowing look and then turned away. However, she did stare at the picture of Wiley and Lucas on his phone.
Anna (Finola Hughes) was stunned when Peter (Wes Ramsey) suddenly decided that Liesl (Kathleen Gati) didn’t really kidnap and torture him while he was tied to a bed all summer. Liesl was thrilled she got away with it and went straight to Maxie (Kirsten Storms).
She and Maxie caught up and Maxie mentioned how Michael and Nelle’s baby was stillborn. Liesl then got a look on her face that said, “Hold up–WHAT???”
Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) woke up together, basking in the glow of the night before. Then, Valentin had a vision of Nina learning everything he did presenting her with a fake daughter. And Nina remained as oblivious as ever.
