General Hospital Recap: Willow Learned The Heartbreaking Truth

The General Hospital recap for Friday, February 21, 2020, features a baby being returned to his biological father, a woman learning her little boy died, Nelle claiming a small victory, Ava getting filled in and Jordan (finally) being honest with Curtis.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Chase (Josh Swickard) explained the tragic situation about her baby to a hospitalized Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) and she broke all our hearts as she absorbed the truth about what happened to the little boy she gave birth to.

She broke down in Chase’s arms and realized what it is like to grieve a child and that when she gave her baby up for adoption, it was only saying goodbye. And then she never got to truly say goodbye.

Meanwhile, Michael (Chad Duell) debated the merits of staking his claim to Wiley. Sonny (Maurice Benard), who has no problem taking children away from their biological parents, insisted that the only recourse available was Michael taking Wiley.

Lucas (Ryan Carnes) having fed Wiley the final snack as his father, emerged from the kitchen and handed Wiley over to his nephew and watched the two depart for Monica’s (Leslie Charleson).

Across town, Julian (William de Vry) confessed to Ava (Maura West) that he had known about Wiley’s true parentage for months and about the switcheroo for even longer. A panicked Ava offered to help Julian flee town but he insisted on sticking around. Instead, the siblings put their heads together to figure out a way to keep Brad (Parry Shen) from squealing.

Nelle: Poor Little Darling

At the PCPD holding cells, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) put on quite the show for the guard full of tears and accusations that Brad literally ripped her baby from her arms. In keeping with the previously established rule that all PCPD officers are incompetent, the guard took Nelle’s statements at face value and forcibly removed Brad from the “frightened” woman’s presence.

To Tell The Truth

After much prodding, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) revealed to Curtis (Donnell Turner) that she and Taggert (Real Andrews) are being targeted by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), an old enemy from there DEA days.

Once the husband and wife were alone, she also admitted to having worked with Taggert, Bob Massicotte, and Mark Simon to frame Cyrus for his drug-running when actual proof never emerged. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
