The General Hospital recap for Friday, December 21 features the soap’s Christmas episode since it doesn’t air again until next Wednesday.
It was a sweet Christmas Eve at Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) house where we learned she’s raising some pretty great kids. It was nice to see them all together as Liz fretted about Aiden (Jason David), and Franco (Roger Howarth) promised her he’d be okay.
Cam (Will Lipton) had a talk with Aiden about believing in himself and making mistakes. He admitted he made a big one with their mom, but also told Aiden and Jake (Hudson West) that they should never try to hide anything from her.
He also told Aiden he can always come to him with his troubles. Soap Hub was melting.
At the hospital, Monica (Leslie Charleson) did her best to carry on the Christmas tradition started by Steve Hardy and continued by Alan.
She read the Christmas story to the children, Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) dressed as Santa, and Oscar (Garren Stitt) helped make sure a little girl would get her presents even though she was in the hospital. He also got a new car courtesy of Kim and Drew.
At Casa Corinthos, Wiley was there once again when Lucas (Ryan Carnes) stopped by and Michael (Chad Duell) couldn’t wait to hold the little boy. We also saw quite the confrontation as Josslyn (Eden McCoy) realized Jason (Steve Burton) knew about Oscar’s illness for ages before she did.
Anna (Finola Hughes) hosted quite the ‘happy’ Christmas Eve party and was thrilled when Peter (Wes Ramsey) showed up. Finn (Michael Easton) even brought them together to wrap presents.
Maxie (Kirsten Storms) also arrived with Chet (Chris Van Etten), who is visiting for the holidays. Chase (Josh Swickard) invited Willow (Katelyn MacMullen), but she turned him down.
Instead, Willow visited with Julian (William deVry) and we learned she is the first Wiley’s birth mom. What she doesn’t know is that the first Wiley died and she thinks the baby now known as Wiley is hers.
General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
