General Hospital Recap: Willow Finds Her Spine, Stands Up To Carly

General Hospital recap for Thursday, November 18, 2021
 Comments

The General Hospital recap for Thursday, November 18, 2021, features Carly Corinthos up against something she’s not at all used to – someone telling her her place! There’s also Jason Morgan making the most boneheaded of moves, and Brook Lynn Quartermaine facing the music.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Hell has well and truly frozen over. Someone has stood up to Carly “Queen of the Hypocrites” Corinthos (Laura Wright). It was glorious and very surprising considering the fact that the brave one was milquetoast Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) – but hey, we’ll take it, no matter who it comes from.

And how did Carly react to Willow’s reminder that she was not Wiley’s mother, and therefore had no business dictating who he can and cannot see? Well, she proceeded to dictate who the boy could and could not see. Hey, old habits and all that jazz.

The one certainty is that Carly hates Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), and will always hate Nina Reeves. In fact, if Nina had another daughter, Carly would probably kick it off the nearest cliff. But the question remains…why is Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) suddenly Team Nina? Is it possible he finally wised up and realized what a harridan he married?

GH Recap: Baby Be Mine

Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) have but two jobs. Come up with a baby name, and get one another through those contractions. In the meantime, Elizabeth Webber Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is going to do her job, which is to do everything possible to keep that yet-to-be-born babe out of harm’s way…and that looks like it’s going to be an uphill battle.

Opposite this, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) had some explaining to do to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) – namely that he wasn’t Bailey’s father. It was très painful to watch.

General Hospital Recap: Brothers in Arms

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) each had a job to do. The former was supposed to kill the latter, and the latter was supposed to deactivate the former.

Thanks to the tarot card that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) slipped him, Jason was able to complete his mission – or was he? Drew was still acting pretty squirrelly, but Jason still armed him, so if there’s anyone to blame for this going sideways….
