General Hospital Recap
The General Hospital recap for Friday, February 15 features what goes on in deranged minds, eccentric minds, clever minds, and shocked minds. It was a week you won’t forget in Port Charles and the end was no exception.
The hour opened with Carly (Laura Wright) and Sonny (Maurice Benard) tied up and gagged in their living room, which was quite shocking after the last we saw them Carly was announcing she was pregnant. Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) was even there with them and then Ava (Maura West) walked in.
After making sure that tape was firmly secured over Carly’s mouth, Ryan handed Ava a set of gourmet chef knives and told her to dig in and do whatever she wanted with them. Then, Ryan snapped out of it and we realized it was all a dream. (OK, we pretty much knew it was a dream.)
In television real life, Ryan was in Kevin’s office ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day with Ava and celebrate they did. Laura (Genie Francis) even walked in on the end of the celebration, so Ava made herself scarce — fast.
Ryan was very happy to tell Laura he was with his lover, which just didn’t seem like Ryan to her. When he was dumb enough to bring up the pre-nup, extremely loud alarms finally went off in Laura’s head.
Soon, alarms went off in Ryan’s head, as well. He realized his brother tricked him and headed to Ferncliff with Laura following close behind.
Meanwhile, Carly and Sonny were not tied up at all, but Sonny wasn’t quite sure how Carly could be pregnant. It turns out Carly just assumed with no real evidence that she was menopausal and stopped taking birth control. Good job, Carly.
Sonny wasn’t sure he wanted the baby because he feared Carly would have a stroke. But, Carly is all for it if the doctor says it’s safe.
At the PCPD, Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) broke up Franco (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth’s (Rebecca Herbst) jailhouse wedding to talk to Franco alone. She showed him pictures of the victims and Franco was horrified. His reaction was enough to convince her Franco is not the killer, but she did have a proposition for him…
It was definitely a week for logical conclusions. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) concluded Sasha is NOT Nina’s daughter while Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) enjoyed Griffin’s (Matt Cohen) company and her ‘Aunt’ Liesl’s karaoke.
