General Hospital Recap Highlights

Nina (Cynthia Watros) arrived at Jax’s (Ingo Rademacher) to personally deliver him an invitation to her and Valentin’s (James Patrick Stuart) latest wedding ceremony.

Not only did Jax decline but he wondered how she can get let herself get involved with the schemer again and throw away everything by marrying him. “What if I wasn’t planning on marrying Valentin?” Nina asked. “What if I’m planning on destroying him?”

Return Trips

While Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) and Curtis (Donnell Turner) caught up with Aunt Stella (Vernee Watson-Johnson) at the Metro Court, Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) stumbled into the Quartermaine mansion interrupting a pow-wow between her dad, stepmother, and Sonny (Maurice Benard).

Brook Lynn’s flippant attitude towards all things family grated on Olivia and when Dante was brought up she had to excuse herself, leaving Sonny to fill Brook Lynn in on Dante’s situation.

After having a good cry on Ned’s shoulder, Olivia returned to the living room and quickly engaged the room in an argument over Leo’s proposed Christmas present; she isn’t so sure a pony is a good gift for a kid. It’s so “Quartermaine”.” The situation made Sonny giggle. He’s sure Edward and Lila would have approved.

Protect and Serve

Nikolas arrived at Wyndemere hoping to talk to Charlotte and got caught by the girl in question. He lied and told her that he was a bodyguard hired by Valentin to protect her and she agreed to keep mum about seeing him.

When Valentin arrived home — fresh of being told to go to hell by Ava who didn’t want to give him Helen’s portrait — Nik grabbed a fireplace poker and hid. While incognito, he overheard Valentin place a call to Hayden (Rebecca Budig) and ask her to visit him.

Nothing In Common

Hayden joined Anna (Finola Hughes) at the Metro Court to clear the air. When she felt judged, Hayden indulged in a game of Glass Houses. “You got pregnant and left — same. You left the father out of the loop — same. And for even longer than I did with Finn.”

Later, Anna warned Hayden not to “Get it twisted.” She knows that exes come with the territory and she’s thrilled that Violet is in Finn’s life but it’s also HER life, “Finn’s and mine.” General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
