General Hospital Recap, Wednesday, June 19: Sonny’s New-Old Friend

The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, June 19 features a reinstatement, a reunion, and a visitation of memories best left forgotten.

Finn (Michael Easton) summoned Laura (Genie Francis) and Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) to the hospital where he informed them that after a heated debate the board members at General Hospital had voted to reinstate him as a resident psychiatrist.

Josslyn (Eden McCoy) startled Dev (Ashton Arbab), the young intruder in Lulu’s home, and he escaped before she could call the police. Lulu (Emme Rylan) was grateful that nothing more serious occurred she blasted the teenager for her reckless actions. (The PCPD oddly told her she did the right thing.)

At Sonny’s (Maurice Benard), Jason (Steve Burton) arrived with news of the possible lead concerning dead Dawn of Day member Dan Miller. He revealed that Dan was Harmony’s husband and Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) father, news which greatly upset Michael (Chad Duell). Sonny even wondered if Willow was related to Diane.

Dev was hauled into the police station and when Josslyn arrived to identify him he insisted that he had scared off the REAL burglar. He also claimed to be a friend of Sonny’s so Josslyn called her stepfather to come down and prove his claim.

When Sonny arrived he realized he indeed knew the boy, as he had helped him rescue Dante in Turkey. Joss looked at the boy like Oscar could become a distant memory — fast.

Michael tracked down Willow (already on edge about her court appearance the next day) and tried to get her to open up about her father. She became defensive and insisted that she couldn’t talk about the circumstances of his death.
