The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, July 3 features Alexis really screwing the pooch, Sonny giving a bribe, and Bobbie giving Scotty a surprising answer to his proposal.
Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) arrived early for her therapy session with Neil (Joe Flannigan) and ran into Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth). Their meeting was awkward, to say the least. During her session, Alexis let slip that she knows that Neil had a daughter that passed away. Neil, fed up with Alexis’s constant prying into his personal life, terminated their weekly sessions.
After leaving Neil’s, Kristina went to the visit Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) in her jail cell. Later, Alexis was surprised to see Kristina back at the office. Alexis was in for an even bigger shock when Kristina asked for a joint session with Neil. It’s time to reveal what was in her pledge.
Sonny (Maurice Benard) set up a meeting with Mike’s cousin Gladys and offered her compensation in exchange for a favor, Well, less compensation and more a bribe. In exchange for an envelope full of cash (and more payments to come), Gladys has to claim Dev (Ashton Arbab) as her grandson. After some (brief) hesitation Gladys told Sonny he had a deal.
Franco (Roger Howarth), Liz (Rebecca Herbst), Cameron (William Lipton) and Laura (Genie Francis) met at Charlie’s during a pre-work breakfast. After seeing Cameron be short with Liz, Laura asked the young man for an aside.

It soon became obvious that Cameron’s distrust of Franco stems from all his other father figures either dying or bailing on him.
Over at GH, Bobbie (Jacklyn Ziman) was stunned by Scotty’s (Kin Shriner) marriage proposal. It wasn’t so much the fact that he proposed but it was the WAY he did t. Bobbie asked Scotty if he even realized he never once used the phrase, “I love you.” Furthermore, Bobbie reminded Scotty that every time that tried to make a relationship work it always crashed and burned.
So, despite loving him Bobbie had to say no. Her love for him has matured since her carefree youth and it has evolved into love for a best friend. Scotty was left feeling incredibly disheartened at Bobbie’s rejection. But, after another talk, he asked Bobbie to be his fate for Liz and Franco’s wedding reception and she said yes.
