The General Hospital recap for Thursday, September 2, 2021, features Liesl Obrecht at the mercy of a former victim, Ava Jerome Cassadine preparing to bid Port Charles adieu, and Jasper “Jax” Jacks coming to a difficult decision.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Though she is indeed the victim of a kidnapping, even Liesl (Kathleen Gati) had to admit that her circumstances could be a lot worse; she’s being held in a room roughly twice the size, and two times as luxurious as any you’d find in a five-star hotel…and let’s not forget the complimentary silk pajamas and delicious free food.
The one downside – other than the fact she’s locked inside this figurative gilded cage? It all comes courtesy of an obsessed Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy); turns out, the rumors of his death – at Liesl’s hands – were greatly exaggerated. Equally disturbing, his ardor for Liesl has not yet subsided.
Back in Port Charles, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) are dubious over Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shriner) recollection of events…until a series of disturbing facts begin trickling in. First, the women learn that Scott had been pumped full of chloroform. Then, Anna discovers that the conference Liesl had been heading to doesn’t exist.
GH Recap: Fond Farewell
Ava (Maura West) has been driven to her wit’s end. As a result, she’s decided to up the stakes, in the hope that doing so will gladden her stalker and keep them from committing anymore mischief. Her decision greatly upsets Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla), but Ava is resolute.
General Hospital Recap: The Closer
Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) had some choice words for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) – namely, forgive your father or get a job to support the both of us. Spencer chose to do the former, much to Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) relief. But it’s one step forward, one step back for the young deceivers, as Esme then accidentally refers to Kiki as Lauren during a convo with Trina. #RedFlag
Over at Spring Ridge, Jax (Ingo Rademacher) explained to an amused Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) all the ways he screwed up his life and relationships. He then further explained that he’s probably about to make another boneheaded decision – though he stopped short of revealing that he’s probably going to help Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) keep Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) out of sight.
