General Hospital Recap, Tuesday, July 2: Scotty Proposes To Bobbie

The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, July 2 features Ava shirking her duties, Carly and Sonny debating their future as parents, and Finn name dropping an old female villain.

Ava (Maura West) told Jax (Ingo Rademacher) that she needed to reschedule her interview for Crimson. Jax threatened to sue Ava for breach of contract but she explained that she is visiting a psychic medium. She desperately wants to contact Kiki and get some closure.

Over at Charlie’s, TJ (Tajh Bellow) announced that he was deferring medical school. When Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) asked TJ the reason he said so he could get a job and help pay Jordan’s medical bills. Jordan and Stella (Vernee Watson-Johnson) both argued that TJ should finish his schooling and become the great doctor that he is meant to be.

Finn (Michael Eastman) and Chase. (Josh Swickard) also spent some time at Charlie’s. Chase filled his brother in on Willow’s prison sentence and then asked about Anna. Finn told his brother that he and Anna speak every day on the phone.

The conversation turned to the villainess Cassandra Pierce whom Finn still worries about. Later, a mysterious unseen woman booked a plane ride to Port Charles.

At Casa Corinthos, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly (Laura Wright) discussed their fears about the baby’s prognosis. Carly wondered if they were prepared to raise a special needs baby. Sonny assured her that they could and they would do so with great love and affection.

A depressed Scotty (Kin Shriner) paid a visit to Franco (Roger Howarth) and complained about feeling lonely. He wants to feel needed and wanted by a woman again. Franco gave his dad a pep talk and Scotty left with a bold new idea.

After tracking Bobbie (Jacklyn Zeman) down, Scotty proposed marriage! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
