The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, September 7, 2021, features Trina Robinson getting Esme Prince’s number, Curtis Ashford and Portia Robinson setting off on an adventure, and Carly Corinthos appearing to do a runner.
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Trina (Sydney Mikayla) has always been the kind of gal who gives people the benefit of the doubt, and chance after chance to prove themselves – but even she had to agree with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) that Esme (Avery Kristen Pohl) is a bitch with a capital B.
But is it because Esme is actually shady, or is it because Trina’s uber jelly over her snagging Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez)? It’s definitely the former; though there is some truth to the latter.
GH Recap: Roadblock To Love
Call her crazy if you must – and if her past, and present, is anything to go by, she’s completely certifiable – but Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is in love with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Well, not Sonny per se; she’s in love with the kinder, more genteel Sonny who’s going by the name Mike; the Sonny who would never shoot his child, in the chest, at point-blank range.

And luckily for Nina, “Mike” loves her too. He loves her so much, in fact, that he decides to forgo sprucing up The Tan-o and plan a romantic evening for the two of them. Unluckily for Nina, her ex-lover, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) is lurking outside, just waiting to swoop in and break up her happy home!
General Hospital Recap: Fancy Meeting You Here
Thanks to Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has a lead in the Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) caper – and a sleuthing partner in Portia (Brook Kerr). Irony of ironies said lead puts the two on the same trail as Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry). If there was any doubt that Drew’s case and the investigation into Naomi Dreyfus (Gigi Bermingham) were linked, it’s dissipated now.
GH Recap: Runaway Bride
Freshly sprung from the hoosegow, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was nonplussed to hear that his bride-to-be is nowhere to be found. Did her talk with his mother, Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson), have anything to do with it? It appeared to go well. Hmm.
