The General Hospital recap for Friday, December 11, 2020, features Tracy compounding Alexis’s problems, Julian caught between a rock and hard place, Dante seeking Olivia’s advice, and Sam reaching out to Carly.
A fast-acting Tracy (Jane Elliot) separated Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) and dragged Alexis away for a private chat. Tracy’s subsequent offer of a job in Amsterdam didn’t appeal to Alexis, who rightfully guessed that Tracy was just trying to micromanage a potentially explosive situation.
With their business concluded, Alexis planned to return home and Tracy insisted on playing chauffeur. The drive was understandably tense and it was made even more so when Alexis admitted that she wanted Ned to come clean about the affair.
Once Alexis passed out from her overindulgence of gin, Tracy took the opportunity to frame her for driving under the influence. Ain’t nobody going to threaten her son’s marriage!
An on-the-lam Julian (William deVry) made his way to New York City and called at Kim Nero’s (Tamara Braun) apartment. His former lover was nowhere to be found, but he did make the acquaintance of her son’s nanny!
Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Jason (Steve Burton) converged on Julian’s location. But, rather than immediately seek out their prey, the men took the time to discuss Jason’s recent romantic woes.
Once the two decided that there was nothing more for Jason to do except walk away from his family and commit himself to Sonny, mind, body, and soul. They made their move.
Jason set off the apartment building’s fire alarm, while Sonny staked out an alleyway. Sure enough, a spooked Julian made his exit out the back door, and ran face-first into Sonny’s gun!
Back at the Metro Court, Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) sought Olivia’s advice on how to best proceed in reestablishing a bond with Rocco. Meanwhile, Sam (Kelly Monaco) confided in Carly (Laura Wright) about her decision to quit Jason.
Over in Geneva, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) did her utmost to convince Scotty (Kin Shriner) and Franco (Roger Howarth) that not only had she been exonerated of all criminal charges, but that the real culprit was being investigated as she spoke.
Later, a still-suspicious Scotty interrupted a violent struggle between Liesl and Dr. Kirk and wound up causing the not-so-good doctor to fatally impale himself upon a switchblade! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
