The General Hospital recap for Monday, July 27, 2020 features a flashback to May of this year. In that episode, Sasha started down a slippery slope, Robert attempted to make some inroads, and Nelle came barreling into court with a shocking revelation.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
It was Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) day to shine, but things continued to go from bad to worse. Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) overslept and was late arriving for her call time. The coffee on hand was ice cold. And the photoshoot’s wardrobe mistress was nowhere to be seen.
Luckily for all, Nina (Cynthia Watros) was on hand to offer her competition some much-needed words of encouragement. Although the jury’s out on whether her presence helped or hindered Maxie, Nina’s (former) right-hand woman.
As she readied herself for her debut as a model, Sasha found herself provided with a little “pick-me-up powder” which she decided to inhale. The resulting transformation was nothing short of stunning, but was it worth the inevitable cost?
Holly Sutton: Death By Misadventure…or Murder?
Robert (Tristan Rogers) stormed Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna’s (Finola Hughes) lunch, and interrupted their talk of wedding plans, in order to complain about Anna keeping mum about her suspicions where Holly’s (Emma Samms) death was concerned.
Anna admitted that all might not be as it seemed. But she also assured her ex that she was on the case – as was Mac (John J. York). If anything of value turns up she promised that Robert would be kept in the loop.
The conversation then turned to the other time that Holly had been missing and presumed dead; her family said she died in a plane crash…it was a lie. Could history have repeated itself a second time?
Here Comes the Bride
While Carly (Laura Wright) scuttled off to the police station and thanked Chase (Josh Swickard) for his and Sasha’s noble sacrifice, Michael (Chad Duell) told Diane (Carolyn Hennesy) about his and Willow’s (Katelyn MacMullen) quickie wedding.
All the interested parties converged at the courthouse and waited for the trial to begin. When it was called to order, Nelle (Chloe Lanier) was nowhere in sight. Martin (Michael E. Knight) panicked. Diane, Willow, and Michael prayed that she wouldn’t arrive.
And the exasperated judge was ready to begin the case despite Nelle’s absence. But right before he could do so, Nelle bursts through the doors, clad in a white gown, and brandishing a ring on the third finger of her left hand. General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC.
