The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, July 14, 2020, features a flashback to April 29 of this year. In that episode, Charlotte learned that throwing fits will get her exactly what she wants, Finn got the truth out of Chase, and Michael continued to prove how stupid he was.
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) swore to Charlotte (Scarlett Fernandez) that he wasn’t abandoning her – they just wouldn’t be seeing each other all that often. The little girl continued to bemoan her fate…until Lulu (Emme Rylan) swooped in, decided that Valentin wasn’t so bad after all, and agreed to let him remain a part of his daughter’s life. And just like that, a lesson was not learned by anyone.
Sam (Kelly Monaco) continued to insult and belittle Brando (Johnny Wactor) for his one night stand with Molly (Haley Pullos) but the mechanic had her number. She was just projecting her upset over her situation with Jason (Steve Burton).
Later, fresh off an enlightening conversation with Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) – “I think confessing [you affair] is just a way to make yourself feel better at TJ’s expense” – Molly arrived and informed both Brando and Sam that her indiscretion will remain a secret.
Over at the newly remolded Casa de Corinthos, Michael (Chad Duell) shocked Carly (Laura Wright) with the revelation of Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Chase’s (Josh Swickard) “affair.”
While he did so, Finn (Michael Easton) extracted the truth from his baby brother: the affair had been elaborately staged to force Michael and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) into getting married. Finn called Chase out on his stupidity and insisted that the truth must come out – for everyone’s sake.
Especially Willow’s. And it seemed that Chase was properly swayed…but now that Willow is back at the apartment to collect her belongings, will find the right words to say? (Spoiler alert: No.) General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
