The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, July 21, 2021, features Stella Henry going full throttle on Shawn Butler, Harrison Chase taking his anger and frustration out on Willow Tait Chase, and Spencer Cassadine scheming to reunite his father and Britt Westbourne.
Stella (Vernee Watson) is the kind of woman who speaks as she finds, and she finds Shawn (Sean Blakemore) severely lacking in moral fiber – hence her epic, verbal evisceration of the man who shot and killed her beloved nephew.
Afterward, and with some prompting from Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry), Stella admitted that the confrontation had done little to soothe her soul…but she doesn’t regret it for a minute; that, or her meddling in Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) love life.
Having tried to stand on his own, and failed miserably, Chase (Josh Swickard) threw a tantrum and directed most of his vitriol at Willow (Katelyn MacMullen). Later, Willow ran into Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and wondered if he still wanted to make a go of their relationship, despite not knowing when they’ll actually be able to be together; Michael answered in the affirmative.
Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) delighted in reuniting with Britt (Kelly Thiebaud), and he made a point of engineering a run-in between her and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Neither party appreciated the young man’s effort, but it at least provided an opportunity for them to clear the air.
Meanwhile, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) played sounding board to a distraught and lonely Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), then received some solid relationship advice from Curtis (Donnell Turner).
Over at GH, Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) gently prodded Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to let go of her fears, and follow her heart where Curtis was concerned…advice that Portia took firmly to heart.
