The General Hospital recap for Friday, October 1, 2021, features Spencer Cassadine (finally) stepping up and admitting the truth – not that anyone thanked him for it. There’s also more blustering on both Carly Corinthos and Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s part, as well as a reality check for Nina Reeves.
General Hospital Recap Highlights
Spencer (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) may be a pouty, overprivileged, snot-nosed brat, but even he knows that it would be unfair for his father to have to take a beating for something he didn’t do – hence his confession to being Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) stalker. That sure stopped Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), his goons, and everyone else at Wyndemere in their tracks. As expected, Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) did not thank his son for his honesty.
GH Recap: High Tension
Carly (Laure Wright) is really, really mad at Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher). How dare he not come to her and swear blindly, with zero proof, that Sonny was alive and well and living in Nixon Falls. She totally would have believed him.
Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) is likewise angry at Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth). How dare he imply that Leo may be autistic; it’s clearly a ploy to distract Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) from what’s really important – and that’s ensuring that the Quartermaines don’t have to share a penny of their vast fortune with a member of the underprivileged class…namely Austin.
General Hospital Recap: Sound Advice
Scott “I’ve Never Trusted A Quartermaine” Baldwin (Kin Shriner) had a few choice words for Nina (Cynthia Watros), namely that he was very disappointed with her for involving Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) with her bull, that he can practically feel her longing for Sonny (which gags him), and that she’d better watch her back because those who displease the Corinthos Cult generally wind up dead in ditches. Food for thought.
