General Hospital Recap: Sonny Gave Mike A Dream-Come-True Day

 Comments

The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, September 2, 2020, features Sonny giving Mike a day to remember, Ned making it all about himself, Anna’s resolve breaking, and everybody taking advantage of the fact that Brook Lynn can’t talk back.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

Sonny (Maurice Benard) delighted in not only being allowed to take his dad to the track but also getting the opportunity to take Mike (Max Gail) into the stables pre-race. Father and son tenderly bonded over the experience and Sonny later reiterated to Carly his desire to share every single moment that he could with Mike.

All About Ned

Ned (Wally Kurth) continued to castigate Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) for prioritizing her biological child over her stepdaughter, which led to a proper blow-out between the pair.

Olivia informed Ned that she loved her offspring and would never causally abandon them no matter what crime they had committed. And she wasn’t going to let the opportunity to see Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) slip through her fingers just because her husband couldn’t say the same. Ned eventually realized the error of his way but it was a case of too little too late as far as Olivia was concerned.

Ignorance Is No Longer Bliss

Anna (Finola Hughes) doubled down on her efforts to cast aside any lingering doubts that she may have about Peter (Wes Ramsey)…but her struggle was evident. It was exacerbated by Robert’s (Tristan Rogers) continued interference and a mysterious call from Alex.

The Past Is Prologue

Though he began the morning resolute in his decision to reveal the truth about his ‘affair’ with Sasha (Sofia Mattsson), Chase (Josh Swickard) wound up backing down when he overheard Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) agree to Michael’s (Chad Duell) proposal that she legally adopt Wiley.

So, instead of baring his heart and soul to the woman he truly loved, Chase made do with visiting Brook Lynn (Briana Lane). But he was far from Miss Quartermaine’s only visitors.

She had already run a concerned Dustin (Mark Lawson) and Lulu (Emme Rylan) off.  Chase also interrupted a surprisingly civil exchange between her and Sasha. Hey, she couldn’t exactly be rude to a woman who brought her free beauty supplies now could she? General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
