The General Hospital recap for Tuesday, May 25, 2021, features Jason reaching into his bag of tricks to soothe Britt, Brando showing where his true allegiance lies, and Maxie realizing, far too late, that she’ll never escape Crazy Peter.
Were it not for Jason’s (Steve Burton) calming presence, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) would probably be climbing up the walls. Were it not for his positive thinking, she’d still be listing all the horrible symptoms she would suffer should her disease suddenly manifest. And were it not for Jason’s lips, she’d still be talking! That man always did have a way with the ladies.
Since he’s failed at every other assignment given to him, Cyrus (Jeff Kober) offers Brando (Johnny Wactor) one last chance to deliver – and all he has to do is put a bullet in Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs). Now, on the face of it, it shouldn’t be that hard of a task; who’d really miss this selfish terror?
But, as far as Brando is concerned, blood really is thicker than water. Problem is, that’s pretty much what Cyrus figured…and he’s not pleased.
Officer Couldn’t Catch a Criminal If He Was Right in front of Him might not believe “Mike” (Maurice Benard) when he says that Nina (Cynthia Watros) is in imminent danger, but Lenny (Rif Hutton) sure does. In fact, he has so much faith in his ward that he went out and committed an act of vandalism just so the copper’s attention would be diverted elsewhere.
And it’s a good thing too – because Nina is in need of rescue. Turns out Elijah (Dan White) isn’t too thrilled with the fact that she’s rumbled his real estate scam.
Despite all her precautions, it appears that Maxie (Kirsten Storms) won’t be delivering her baby in the safety afforded to her in Beechers Corners. Thanks to “Nurse Chloe” (Kimberly J. Brown), she’s been drugged into unconsciousness and is now at the mercy of the devious medical professional and her diabolical ex.
But what of that mysterious header that Peter takes down what appears to be the hospital’s staircase? There are still five hours to go before a conclusion is revealed. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
