The General Hospital recap for Monday, December 10 features a sorrowful day in Port Charles as friends and family gather to say goodbye to Kiki.
As Julian (William deVry) tried to get her ready, Ava (Maura West) admitted she wasn’t sure how she could go to Kiki’s funeral or even go on. When there was a knock at the door, Ava said all she wanted was her daughter to walk in and lo and behold, there was Avery.
Michael brought her because the Corinthos clan thought it was time Avery know the truth and Ava should tell her, so Ava did and then hung onto the poor little girl for dear life.
She finally got herself together and walked into the funeral with Ryan (Jon Lindstrom) by her side, which is now her new custom.
Franco (Roger Howarth) delivered a heartfelt eulogy about how strong Kiki (Hayley Erin) was and how he never stopped thinking of her as a daughter and almost broke down. Finally, Epiphany (Sonya Eddy) sang a lovely song and they all gathered at the graveyard.
This is when Ava lost it, claiming everyone blamed her for Kiki’s death. When Carly (Laura Wright) arrived, she went especially haywire and was begging for a confrontation.
At the hospital, Drew (Billy Miller) was stunned that Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson) handed him the flash drive and thought there was a catch. He had no idea what to do with it and was more concerned about Oscar.
Meanwhile, Jason (Steve Burton) visited with Oscar (Garren Stitt) and told him he couldn’t be his executor. Oscar talked him into it by saying he wanted someone who wouldn’t be especially emotional. Well, he came to the right place. Jason was sold and said, sure, he’d do it.
He then saw Drew in the hallway and learned about the flash drive. Drew told him how Margaux wanted to use it to get to Sonny and that he refused to go along with her plot.
