General Hospital Recap: Sasha Rips Into Cyrus To Protect Brando

General Hospital Recap for May 20
 Comments

The General Hospital recap for Thursday, May 20, 2021, features Sasha hitting Cyrus below the belt, Laura and co. presenting a united front, and Gladys pondering her big, big mistake.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

With Cyrus (Jeff Kober) demanding the name of her baby daddy, a quick-thinking Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) insisted that she had slept with a Mr. Nobody, From Nowhere, and that she’d never see again. Furthermore, she insulted Cyrus’s age and his virility all in the hopes of turning him well and truly off.

Hope For The Future

Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) scored back-to-back victories, when her efforts to help her cellmate get parole proved fruitful and when Shawn (Sean Blakemore) asked for assistance in getting him out of Pentonville – the legal way.

Break The Bank

Dante (Dominic Zamprogna) and one of his four slashed tires paid Sam (Kelly Monaco) a visit, and they came with a demand for recompense. Sam wasn’t exactly interested in taking responsibility for her actions – as any Davis woman is loath to do – but once Dante pointed out that he could have had her arrested for impeding a police investigation, out came the checkbook.

In the end, Dante tore up the document…perish the thought that Sam would actually have to pay for a crime that she committed.

Coming Together

A frantic Laura (Genie Francis) warned Nikolas (Marcus Coloma) and Ava (Maura West) that they were now on Cyrus’s naughty list, but she also praised her son for using his dirty money for good…if only she knew that Nik was planning to buy the prison, in part, because he wants to make sure an innocent black man continues paying for the crime he himself committed.

The Truth Shall Set You Free

Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) has gotten her beloved Brando (Johnny Wactor) into one heck of a pickle, and the only hope of sparing him from Cyrus’s wrath is to come clean about what she really saw the night of Franco’s (Roger Howarth) murder.

The fly in the ointment? Even Gladys isn’t sure that she’s capable of telling the actual truth…not this late in the game anyway. Is being honest at all like riding a bike? General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
