General Hospital Recap: Sasha Blabs Her Baby Secret to Brando

General Hospital Recap for May 19
 Comments

The General Hospital recap for Wednesday, May 19, 2021, features Sasha deciding that honesty is the best policy, Carly using the truth like a weapon, and Britt decides to look into her future.

General Hospital Recap Highlight

Brando’s (Johnny Wactor) got questions, and Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) got answers. Is she pregnant with his baby? Affirmative! Can he be a part of said baby’s life? Sure, why not? Should we tell Cyrus (Jeff Kober) about the situation? Probably not. But he’s here, so why not do so anyway?

Full House

Chase (Josh Swickard) wants to leave the hospital; Finn (Michael Easton) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) insist that doing so would put him at risk; Michael (Chad Duell) says come on over and live at Monica’s (Leslie Charleson)…we’d all love to have you there!

The Trouble With Gladys

Carly (Laura Wright) is so desperate to rid herself of Gladys (Bonnie Burroughs) and get her to clear Jason, that she revealed she’s willing to subsidize the Corbin relation. If Gladys wants a business, Carly will pay for it. If Gladys finds a fancy house that her heart desires, Carly will co-sign the mortgage.

Unfortunately for Carly, Gladys isn’t interested in playing ball. So that’s when Carly drops the bomb: Gladys is about to become a grandmother…and Cyrus won’t be too happy to learn of that fact.

Doctor/Patient Confidentiality

The good news: Britt’s (Kelly Thiebaud) hand tremors are being caused by nothing more than stress; the bad news: she’s still consumed with dread at the thought of having the marker for Huntington’s. So, at Jason’s (Steve Burton) urging, she decides to undergo the necessary testing protocol.

Power Play

Cyrus swung by Laura’s (Genie Francis) apartment and revealed that she’d hurt his feelings to the extent that he’s now going to forget any familial ties that he may have to any persons on his growing list of enemies – especially if their name is Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and they’re planning on privatizing a prison called Pentonville.

Be Cool

Despite worrying that “Mike’ would unleash his inner Sonny (Maurice Benard) on one of Elijah’s (Dan White) hired goons, Nina (Cynthia Watros) was suitably impressed by the calm and rational way that “Mike” finessed the baddie. General Hospital (GH) airs weekdays on ABC.
