The General Hospital recap for Friday, January 15, 2021, features Sam and Olivia getting their sleuth on, Cyrus trying to arrange some quid pro quo, and Sonny getting out of the frying pan and into the fire.
While Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) tended to Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn), Sam (Kelly Monaco) spoke with her mother’s security company and learned that the fancy new alarm system had not been cut off the night Alexis and Tracy (Jane Elliot) supposedly returned to the house.
Both women quickly deduced that something was rotten in the hamlet of Port Charles, but they disagreed on how to proceed. Sam wanted to confront Tracy directly with their suspicions. Olivia cautioned discretion.
The duo was in for a surprise when Tracy put in a personal appearance…and Tracy gave them all the ammunition they needed to move forward when she didn’t recognize Alexis’s home defense system.
Jason (Steve Burton) and Brick’s (Stephen A. Smith) meeting was interrupted by Cyrus’s (Jeff Kober) arrival. The villain initially feigned ignorance over the recent massacre of the Novak family. Then he intimated that he had given the order…but only to help Jason. But he expected something in return. And that something was the return of his beloved mother.
Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) debated the merits of the latter remaining with Michael (Chad Duell) vs. reuniting with Chase (Josh Swickard). Nothing was decided then and there, except for Willow admitting that she was drawn to BOTH men.
Meanwhile, Sonny (Maurice Benard) accompanied Phyllis (Juliette Jeffers) to a pub that she revealed is owned by her husband – the surly, uncharitable Lenny. Sonny earned some favor by promising to work for his food and board, but Lenny was still suspicious.
Later, the trio was interrupted by an armed and dangerous criminal who demanded the night’s takings! General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
