The General Hospital recap for Monday, June 8, 2020, features Sam getting her hands on some evidence that incriminates Peter… who had his own hands full with Maxie and her soon-to-be-arriving baby!
General Hospital Recap Highlight
Sam (Kelly Monaco) was certain that the cigarette lighter she found in Peter’s (Wes Ramsey) office proved that he was actually Henrik – the son of the evil Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
She phoned Jason (Steve Burton) and tore him away from Michael (Chad Duell), whom he was desperate to convince that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) gaslit Carly (Laura Wright).
Once he arrived at the Metro Court and listened to Sam’s explanation, Jason agreed that Peter was their man. They searched the ballroom but found no trace of him.
Fearful that Peter planned to meet up with, and possibly harm Anna (Finola Hughes), Jason decided that the best course of action was to hack Peter’s emails and figure out where he was headed. But Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), hacker extraordinaire, proved to be unreachable. Luckily he had taught Sam a thing or two…
Meanwhile, a clearly pained Maxie (Kirsten Storms) apologized to Peter for making him leave his first Nurses Ball and play chauffeur. Peter promised that he didn’t mind. But he DID mind the fact that his passenger suddenly went into labor and bemoaned the fact that it was too late to go to the hospital!
Odd Woman Out
In light of hearing her date confess his love to Anna, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) fled the stage – and failed to collect her award. Finn (Michael Easton) gave chase, issued an apology, and then received his dismissal. Alexis was no mood for his pity or his presence.
Performances
Inside the ballroom, the attendees were entertained by the musical stylings of “Eddie Maine” (Wally Kurth) and Olivia (Lisa LoCicero) – who sang Peace, Love & Understanding – and Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Oscar (Garren Stitt) who performed I Never Knew.
Valentin: Man Interrupted
Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) took to the stage and crooned The Book of Love – while tickling the ivories. At his act’s conclusion, he was punched by a clearly unimpressed Robert (Tristan Rogers). General Hospital airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
