The General Hospital recap for Monday, January 13, 2020, features Brook Lynn flying high before crash landing on earth, Anna lying her tail off, and Maxie so excited she could burst.

General Hospital Recap Highlights

It was shaping up to be a fine night for Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton). Not only did Nikolas (Markus Coloma) personally inform her of his return to the land of the living, but the courts okayed her request to officially use the name Quartermaine. It’s just too bad that the moniker switcheroo didn’t negate her preexisting contract with that sleazy manager.

Undeterred, she made her way to the Floating Rib with plans to entertain the revelers. However, the predator in question made his presence known and threatened to sue her for breach of contract if she performed.

When the man made unwanted sexual overtures he received not only a punch to the face from his client but a violent shove against a wall courtesy of Dustin (Mark Lawson). Within seconds, Brook Lynn immediately recognized her savior as “Dusty” — a turn of events that does not bode well for archrival Lulu (Emme Rylan).

Tracy; Threats From All Around

Meanwhile, Tracy (Jane Elliot) was less than pleased to hear that there was an upcoming ELQ board meeting that she had not been privy to. Sure, she no longer had personal stock in the company but as long as Dillon was, “out west pretending to be Jean-Luc Goddard, I am his official proxy.”

Her interest rattled Michael (Chad Duell) who confided in Jason (Steve Burton) that he is sure his great-aunt is going to make a play for the CEO position. Ned (Wally Kurth) took the same position and demanded that his mother come clean about her hostile takeover plans. However, Tracy revealed that she wasn’t making a play…someone else was!

Salutations, Jackal

Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) contemplative mood — should she stay at Crimson or take Lucy (Lynn Herrin) up on her offer to jump ship — was interrupted by a surprise visit from Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and Georgie.

And they cam bearing big news: Ellie is up for a prestigious job in nearby Pointe-Claire and if she clinches it, they’re moving back to Port Charles full time.

Cover-Up

Robert (Tristan Rogers) visited Anna (Finola Hughes) hoping to pick up the folder on the would-be GH assassin. The exes discussed the case and Peter (Wes Ramsey). Anna assured Robert that she hadn’t found anything that would point the finger at her maybe son. LIES! At least Robert assured Anna he was close to having some big evidence against Peter.
