General Hospital Recap: Remembering Morgan Corinthos

The General Hospital recap for Monday, October 8 features a memorial for Morgan on the second anniversary of his death.

Carly (Laura Wright) said Morgan’s memorial would be the next day, but since nearly everyone was wearing the same clothing as last week, looks like she got that wrong.

The Corinthos clan and friends gathered at Perks to remember the parts of Morgan’s life we never saw onscreen that made him a much more appealing guy than the arrogant young man who slept with his girlfriend’s mother.

Jason (Steve Burton) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) even made it there after Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) caught them in a compromising position on the couch, meaning after a year they still haven’t slept together.

However, when Jason took Sam home after the memorial, she asked him to stay, so maybe we’re getting somewhere. Maybe.

Ava (Maura West) also had to remember Morgan, despite being the one who switched his pills, which led to his tragic and fatal accident (until he comes back from the dead one day).

She visited his grave and lo and behold Kiki  (Hayley Erin) did the same. A mother-daughter fight ensued and Ava decided to write Kiki out of the will.

When she asked for Alexis’s help in doing this, Alexis advised her to think long and hard about this action.

Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) was thrilled when Curtis (Donnell Turner) told him the second DNA test confirmed the first, but then a very angry and determined Laura (Genie Francis) found him by the docks and put him on notice.

As for Nina (Michelle Stafford), she felt foolish for leaving a message for Sasha saying she’s her mother and told Lulu (Emme Rylan) the whole story. The two women bonded over the plight of finding a long-lost daughter and winning her over
